Case Study:
Montlie Responsive website

My goal as a UI/UX designer for Montlie was to create a user experience that was clear, concise, and engaging to encourage users to download the Montlie App. To achieve this, I conducted research on how users interact with websites and apps, and crafted an interface that would provide users with the necessary information they need to make an informed decision.

My ultimate goal was to create a user experience that reflects Montlie's brand and encourages more people to download their app.

Problem Statement

Montlie needs to create an effective website that will encourage users to download the Montlie App, but the website must also be responsive and accessible on multiple devices.

Solution

Create a website that is optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The website should have a clear call-to-action that encourages users to download the Montlie App, as well as a simple design that makes it easy for users to navigate the website and find the information they need.

The website should also feature testimonials from users about the effectiveness of Montlie’s services, as well as provide users with detailed instructions on how to download and use the Montlie App.

Key Insights

By conducting research about MONTLIE's user behavior, collecting data and studying other competitors' research, I quickly realized users' pain points. These insights helped me determined how to approach minimum viable product solutions.

  1. Most users prefer to access the website through their mobile devices, so the website should be optimized for mobile-first design.

  2. Users want to be able to easily find information about Montlie’s services and how to download the Montlie App.

  3. Users are more likely to download the Montlie App if they hear positive feedback from other users.

  4. Users appreciate a website with a simple, uncluttered design.

  5. Users value a website that is secure and provides clear privacy policies.

Design Solutions

To ensure that I reach my goals by the end of the design process, I created a series of interactions tailored to each goal. I used insights from my research to ensure that my designs had solutions that would help me reach my goals.

I started the design process by creating a mobile-first design, making sure the website is optimized for the best user experience on mobile devices.

I Then placed important information about Montlie’s services, downloads, and the Montlie App prominently on the homepage and made it easy to find.

I Incorporated positive user feedback on the website by adding reviews and ratings.

I Kept the design simple and uncluttered, avoiding too much clutter and unnecessary elements.

I made sure the website is secure and provides clear privacy policies.

Lastly, I developed a comprehensive, adaptive design system that can be easily adapted to mobile, web, and other platforms as MONTLIE grows.

Concept Sketches

After jotting down all my design solutions on paper, I started to sketch out my ideas. I ran a quick crazy eight design exercise to visualize my design solutions. I made sketches for mobile-first and then scaled it up for a desktop version.

Wireframes

With the sketches defined, I generated digital wireframes for both the mobile version and the desktop version.
